We heard your Tribute to John Lee Hooker on the Blues Station WRFG 98.3 last fall. BJ gave me your name and what she thought was your e-mail address. I could never reach you to find out where I could buy the song - I am still looking. Is for sale anywhere??

I want to say that is such a pleasure to hear a women with your talents and to listen to wide range of your vocal talents is just stimulating. You sing with the likes of the great Gospel singer Ella Fitzgeral and its been sometime since someone has come along and performed like her. Congratulation, and all the success with your endeavors.

Hello Diunna! I was in high school with you at MacArthur and my sister Barbara recently got to visit a club where you were performing. I always knew you would do great things in life because of the way you conducted yourself in school. Hats off to you for making a difference!

Ms. Diunna,

Thank you!!! I've been looking for great BLUES places to visit as my family and I are relocating from Delaware to the Houston area this month. Vicky Johnson refered my wife and I to your upcoming performance on Friday/Saturday. I plan on being at the Friday event!!! Looking forward to hearing and supporting good blues. I am a huge fan of Eugene Hideway Bridges...in one of his songs "Silver Slipper" he refers to Crane Street in Houston...can't wait to visit...anyway, i'm getting carried away (i'm orginally from the midwest - Indiana...and just happen to really appreciate the BLUES)...thanks again!

Sincerely,

Travis Pryor

Hello Diunna

I have just come from your concert in Narooma where you invited my son Dean along as your guest, he was your waiter at the Quarterdeck restaurant.
Thank you very much for encouraging him to keep up his music career. It is now 12.45 in the morning and we are wide awake due to the unbelievable performance we have just watched from you, it was fantastic and as Dean said mind blowing.
You had a 5am start the next morning to head home and we know you had a very late night due to the concert,so we hope you recoverd OK. The joy you have brought to my son and your Blues fans from Australia humbles me and I thank GOD my son and I had the chance to meet you and listen to your music.

Thank you again and keep your eye out for that very long package and the funny shaped package from Aussie, you can assure your Niece the Boomerang and Digerydoo are on the way.

Lots of Love always

Mick

I am so thrilled with my Coffee Club album - Diunna brings blues, life, old-time, talent and sweetness, all into my car CD player. I've been trying over and over and over, to get the timing to sing along with the Change is Gonna Come cut - one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. Cry and smile at the same time.

Thank you so much; the guitar is superb too. I heard Diunna in person last month, when she brought Texas and southern blues to Bangor Maine - and blew everyone away. Thank you, wishing you and all the band, many blessings!

We so appreciated your performances at the American Folk Festival in Bangor ME. You and Blue Mercy held court on the banks of the Penobscot River. We were absolutely enthralled, and continue to be when we listen to your CD's...we bought both of them. Our favorite performance was your last with the gospel singers. Whew! You, the Richmond ladies, and Blue Mercy tranported us to a far better place then took us home again. Thanks for taking us there and letting us come back. Hope we see you in Maine again. J and G.

The images of Diunna's incredible performance in Edmonton at the '06 Labatt Bluesfest, (where she simply blocked out the rest of the Universe for all of us during her performance) still remains embedded on my soul !
There really is only One 'Goddess of Blues' and I am honored to be a guy committed to seeking her out again wherever she may go, for another profound experience.

I got my cd's and live recordings from the old days to keep me going while I am in the Gulf working hard on the boat. Am so looking for a Gospel cd.

I am so excited about your success. I am a friend of your sister, Ursula. We attended SHSU together. Your mother, Mrs. Mary has feed us all many a day. I haphazardly asked Wandie Jones about you last night and she informed me of your success. We miss Ursula. Send regards to Kevin. May God's best be yours.
